Mashed Up Banner...

Hiya,

It's time for another challenge over at the Friday Mashup and this week we're having fun with flags and banners!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
  1. Make a project with a "Banner or Flag."
  2. Or Make a project with a "Matching Envelope."
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project with a "Banner / Flag & a Matching Envelope."

And here's what I came up with...

I started with the image from Need for Speed and thought the banner and colours would work well for a guy's card. The banner was created using the Petite Pennants punch - I didn't use the whole triangle, but trimmed them to make them a bit smaller. The colours were taken from the Tickets and Tags Simply Scrappin kit and I added Night of Navy as a contrast colour. For the coordinating envelope I added a layer of dsp with a coordinating strip and some borders from the SS kit, as well as some whisper white for the address.

Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Need for Speed, Party this way
Ink: Night of Navy, Poppy Parade
Paper: Tickets and Tags Simply Scrappin Kit, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Kraft card base & envelope
Accessories: Poppy Parade ribbon, mini silver brads, petite pennants punch, Circles #2 die, striped embossing folder

Make sure you stop by the Friday Mashup challenge to see what the rest of the DT have created!

Thanks for stopping by!
