Hi there!
I've had a request for some thank you cards for men so I'm trying to prioritise making some more of them... Even I don't find them particularly easy! I used a couple of challenges to help me with this one: the Freshly Made Sketch and the Colour Me combo...
I really wanted to use one of my fave new sets from the catty, Tap Tap Tap, as I thought it would work well for a masculine card...
I combed through the catty looking for a thank you sentiment that would fit in the typewriter paper and was delighted to find that the sentiment from Six-Sided Sampler fit perfectly! I used a few other new products on this as well: Lost Lagoon card, the large polka dot embossing folder (so fun!) and some dsp from the All Abloom stack. The typewriter was stamped with stazon, coloured with Smoky Slate ink and a blender pen then cut cut.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Tap Tap Tap, Six-Sided Sampler
Ink: Stazon, Smoky Slate
Paper: All Abloom dsp, Lost Lagoon, Island Indigo, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Naturals Ivory
Accessories: Essentials Hardware Clip
Tools: Large Polka Dot EF, Starburst Framelits, 2 1/2" circle punch, Project Life corner punch, Bitt Banners framelits, Circle card thinlits (banner)
Thanks for stopping by...

I LOVE your card, Amy! I just bought this stamp set, too and it is one of my favorites! I love the polka dot background and DSP gives your card a pop of color! The typewriter is perfect in Smokey Slate! Thank you for joining us at Colour Me this week! XX
ReplyDeleteThe crisp starburst die really stands out, but I think I fell heads over heels in love with the paper clip :) Who'd have thought that a paper clip could do that, haha :) Thank you for playing along with us at Colour Me…! this week!
