Hiya!
Just popping in quickly to share a card I made the other evening while I was playing with my Blendabilities... I combined the Card Concept colours with the Sketch from the Paper Players...
While making this I realised I really need some more designer paper from the new catty! My collection is very limited at the moment and I have none in these colours so I had to make my own backgrounds with stamping and embossing...
I stamped the background with Pear Pizzazz ink onto Pear Pizzazz card then swiped some Whisper White ink around the edges. The image was stamped with Memento ink on Whisper White and coloured with Blendabilities, then die-cut and pierced around the edges. The banners at the side are a combination of card, washi tape and glimmer paper.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Bloom with Hope
Ink: Memento black, Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Blendabilities (Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Skin collection)
Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, Naturals White
Accessories: Retro Fresh washi tape
Tools: Large Polka Dot embossing folder, Ovals framelits, Circle card thinlits
Thanks for stopping by!

Your card is gorgeous Amy! The colors with the touch of white around the edges is a lovely effect. So glad you shared your creation at The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteLove this, Amy! I remember when I first started stamping, I had NO designer paper and I always stamped my own!! This is perfectly lovely and your banners are sweet! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card Amy! I totally understand your dilemma - I don't think I use much DSP, until I go to make a card and realise I have nothing new to co-ordinate! I love how you stamped/embossed your base layers to add interest as an alternative. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
