Today I have a pretty project to share with you that I made at our Bristol Stampin Up training day on Saturday... I kinda deviated from the project design a bit and combined a couple of ideas from Hayley's gorgeous samples to come up with this...
It's hard to see in a photo the really cool layers and steps on this card, but I did take a photo with more of a side view to show you...
The background panels were stamped with one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets coming on the 28th of Jan, Petal Parade and the sentiment is another Sale-a-Bration set called You're Lovely. The butterflies are from the Best of Butterflies set that is available until the end of March (hard to resist a whole stamp set full of butterflies!!).
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Best of Butterflies, You're Lovely, Petal Parade
Ink: Stazon black, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Soft Sky
Accessories: Subtles candy dots
I also wanted to let you know that during Create with Connie and Mary's Preview Week for the Spring Edition, there are some fab tutorials and blog candy up for grabs! Today, the wonderfully talented Mary has a great tutorial on the Create with Connie and Mary website that you can download, and she is giving away blog candy - make sure you stop by and check it out! Don't forget that during Preview week the Early Bird price of $24.95 is available - after that the price will go up to $29.95, so if you like a bargain and loads of inspiration, now's the time to sign up!
I'll be back tomorrow with my ColourQ card, featuring Happy Watercolour again.
Thanks for stopping by...
