Big Bright Birthday...

Hello!

This week's ColourQ challenge is a bright one...

I thought it was a great opportunity to break out my new Big News set, with a couple of other sets to compliment the big greeting...

The only thing I wasn't happy with on this one is the colouring on the cake... I only noticed how patchy the bottom tier is after I'd photographed it... grr! Can't wait to get Calypso Coral blendabilities!! The cake is from the hostess set, Life's Adventures, and I coloured it with a blender pen and inkpads. I added a couple of flowers from Petite Petals as well as a little punched banner as directed by the fab Deconstructed Sketch this week...

New goodies...

Hiya!

I'm popping in to share a card using some NEW goodies we were able to pre-order from the up-coming catalogue...

This card features three of the new in-colours: Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon & Hello Honey, as well as some new dsp. It also has a couple of new stamp sets: Traveller and one of the Project Life clear stamps (for the frame around the sentiment). Oh and there's also another sneaky peek I'm VERY excited about: Blendabilities!! Can't wait to play with these some more!

Elegant Mojo Concept

I've had some time this weekend to make a few things so you should see some more posts this week (sorry I've been quiet lately!). I just loved the Card Concept challenge and I combined it with the pretty Mojo Monday sketch this week...

I pulled out the retiring Eastern Elegance dsp which features Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate and Basic Black and went with my favourite style - clean & layered...
