This week at the Friday Mashup Heidi has given us a fun sketch to work with, as well as challenging us to use our favourite new stamp set (this one's not difficult folks!)...
Here's your Mashup Challenge:
- Create a project using the "Sketch".
- Create a project with a "Favorite New Stamp Set".
- Or Mash it Up and create a project "using the Sketch with your Favorite NEW Stamp Set".
Oh how I love to colour, and the stamps in this set are perfect for doing just that! I used an aqua painter and inkpads for this image - cut out perfectly with the matching framelit. I layered the flowers on a labels shape (which I pierced using the coordinating template) then onto an Apothecary Accents piece from Island Indigo card. The background was stamped with the doily from Happy Day with Bermuda Bay ink, using first and second generation stamping. I added the Island Indigo ribbon and Bermuda Bay candy dots to embellish. As a final touch I sponged some Raspberry Ripple ink around the white card base to coordinate with the flowers.
I used the colours from the Colour Q challenge this week to help me...
Make sure you check out the fab creations from the rest of the design team this week!
