Hiya!
It's time for another fun ColourQ challenge and this week we've got some bright colours to play with...
I had a request from my sister to make a boy's birthday card featuring a bicycle so I thought these colours would work for that. I pulled out one of SU's hostess sets called Life's Adventure and some dsp from the Spring/Summer catty and created this...
I used Cajun Craze instead of Dusty Durango cos we've never had that colour in the UK! The bike was coloured with Blendabilities and the sun (from Kinda Eclectic) was stamped a couple of times with Hello Honey ink.
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch for my layout...
Make sure you check out the inspiring designs from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Hello Sunshine!
Hi there!
It's time for another great ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are rather regal...
I was wondering what to do with these colours until I saw the CAS(E) this Sketch layout this week and I had an idea to use Kinda Eclectic... and ended up with this...
Here's the sketch I followed (I flipped it upside down)...
I used the new Crazy about You stamp set and dies, together with some Gorgeous Grunge splatters and a scrap of retired Raspberry Ripple and the Beautiful Wings embosslit die.
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the design team this week!

Inky Eclectic Butterflies...
Hiya!
My sister was visiting me this weekend and today we had a bit of creative time - she made a gift for her friend and I made a card for a couple of challenges - the sketch from Just Add Ink and the Colour Me combination...
I just love this sketch and I couldn't resist using butterflies so I grabbed my Kinda Eclectic set and got inky...
The butterflies were stamped, punched and then I tied some gold baker's twine around the centre in a bow. I played around with the background by sponging Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay inks onto a piece of watercolour paper, followed by the dots from Kinda Eclectic with Gold Encore ink, then ran it through the Big Shot with the Mosaic embossing folder and finally swiped around the edge with Whisper White ink. The sentiment from Big News was embossed with black EP onto vellum and wrapped around the inked background panel.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Kinda Eclectic, Big News
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Versamark, Gold Encore
Paper: Watercolour, Whisper White Naturals Ivory, Bermuda Bay, Vellum
Accessories: gold baker's twine
Tools: Mosaic embossing folder, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Banners framelits

Eclectic Happy Home...
Hiya!
Sorry it's been a bit quiet around here lately - I've been having a very busy season at work and have not had much time for creating and posting. Thankfully, I did manage to get some time on Sunday afternoon to make my ColourQ card this week - check out this combo...
I really wanted to play with the Holiday Home set from the Autumn/Winter catty (one of my favourites!) and thought these colours would work to create some houses. This is what I ended up with...
The houses were stamped on Naturals Ivory, die-cut with the matching framelits and coloured with an aquabrush, inkpads and markers. I added a little hill underneath using a portion of one of the large hearts framelits. The sun is from Kinda Eclectic and I created the sentiment by bending it on the block (one of the many advantages of photopolymer stamps!), stamping it and then die-cutting with one of the Bitty Banners framelits.
I used the Deconstructed Sketch for my layout...

Eclectic Hexagon Butterflies....
Hiya!
I really wanted to play along with the current Curtain Call challenge - I love the inspiration pic and it's their 1st anniversary!
I wanted to use a white on white background with some splashes of the light blue, pink and kraft colours from the photo so this is what I ended up with...
I used the fab new set Kinda Eclectic for the stamping on this - the butterflies, sentiment and sunburst all come from that set. The background was created with the Hexagon Hive thinlit die, cut with Naturals White card then layered over Whisper White, then onto a Crumb cake card base. I added some candy dots in Soft Sky, some pearls (some coloured with Blendabilities) and some Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon to finish.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Kinda Eclectic
Ink: Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Baked Brown Sugar
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Naturals White
Accessories: Subtles candy dots, pearls, Crumb Cake seam binding
Tools: Hexagon Hive thinlit die, Deco Labels framelit, Elegant Butterfly punch, Bitty Butterfly punch
