Coral Floral Tic Tac Toe...

Hiya!

It's time for another fun challenge over at the Paper Players and this week we're playing Tic Tac Toe...
I chose the bottom row of Floral + Ribbon + Punches and indulged in a very 'me' card! This is the sort of card that I love to make and it's my favourite style, although I do try to attempt a variety of different styles (CAS still alludes me though lol!).

I used the Creative Elements set which I've only just got my hands on and created some dimensional flowers (I stamped the flower 6 times with Calypso Coral ink then cut out three layers per flower, watecoloured the petals a little then scrunched each layer and built up the flowers using dimensional glue). The flourished background was stamped with Soft Suede ink and coloured with a Crumb Cake marker then I added a few tiny pearls to embellish. The dsp is a mix of Crumb Cake patterns and Paisley Petals. I added some lace trim and a big poofy bow that I created with a bow maker (I'm not clever enough to make one of those without one!) - I couldn't resist adding an antique brad in the centre! The sentiment is where the punches come in - stamped on Crumb Cake dsp  and punched out with the Word Window punch then layered on a modern label punched piece of Soft Suede.

Here's a couple of close ups:

I used the colour scheme of the current CR84FN challenge for this one:

Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Creative Elements, Apothecary Art
Ink: Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake marker
Paper: Paisley Petals dsp, Neutrals patterns pack, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Naturals Ivory
Tools: Modern Label punch, Word Window punch
Accessories: Crumb Cake seam binding, lace trim, pearls, antique brads
