Hi there,
It's been a busy week, but I've managed to create a little something for the ColourQ this week - check out these fabulous colours...
When I saw the combination of Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate I thought of Blendabilities (I have those sets!) so went looking for an image in my stamp collection that would work - I ended up settling on Vivid Vases and came up with this...
Of course I had to use my new favourite stamp set, Crazy about You, as well. I found a piece of Cherry Cobbler card embossed with the honeycomb embossing folder in my stash so used that as my background. The 'thanks' and accompanying stamped sentiment are both Strawberry Slush.
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Amazing Rustic Hearts
Hi there!
It's time for another ColourQ challenge - check out this week's colours...
I majored on the Kraft for this one with some wooden hearts and a splash of a new stamp set...
I was inspired by this week's Fusion challenge:

Crazy Mambo Thank You...
Hiya!
I'm a bit late posting my ColourQ card this week - my day kinda ran away from me! This week's colours are a lovely combo with lots of possibilities...
I wanted to use the Crazy about You stamp set and coordinating dies for this one, so I dug through some retured paper to find some Wisteria Wonder dsp, stumbled across a coordinating Melon Mambo doily and ended up with this...
The flower is from the same set, stamped with Melon Mambo and punched with a scallop circle punch. The centre is from the Artisan Embellishment kit. I added some die-cut leaves using a retired leaf die, as well as some Marina Mist ribbon.
I used this week's Retro Sketch for my layout...

Herd Snapshot...
Hello!
When I saw the SU Spring/Summer catalogue one of the stamp sets that caught my eye was the From the Herd set - it's so fun! I don't have many {any!} funny stamp sets - if it's butterflies and flowers you want, I'm you're gal! So I thought I'd get this set and have a bit of a play, and this is my first creation with it...
I just love that sentiment! I showed it to my husband and it made him laugh... so it must be funny! I used this week's Freshly Made Sketch to get me started...
The image was stamped on Naturals White then coloured in with an aqua brush and inkpads (and a couple of Blendabilities). I used a combination of the On Film and Square framelits to create the layers with Soft Suede and Hello Honey card.

Artisan Mojo...
Hi there!
I'm just popping in to share a card I made over the weekend using some new goodies and inspired by two challenges: the Mojo Monday sketch and the Card Concept...
I was given the lovely Artisan Embellishment kit from the Spring/Summer catty before Christmas from my fab team Jess and Claire and decided to use a few bits and pieces from it for this card...
I changed a couple of the shapes on the sketch but hopefully its still recognisable lol! The cut-out rose panel in the background, along with the pink roses, pearls and clear button are all from the Artisan kit. I used the Petite Pairs stamp set to create the sentiment (stamped on a printed die-cut from the Everyday Occasions kit) and added some Rose Red seam binding ribbon (clearly, I was on a bit of an embellishment kick with this card!). I was going for the Classy & Elegant style for this one.

Chalkboard Hooray...
Hiya!
Happy New Year to you all! After a short break the ColourQ is back for 2015 with a lovely new colour combo...
I had some flowers I had coloured with Rich Razzleberry blendabilities and wanted to use them for this challenge. I also had spotted the Fusion challenge this week and that inspired me as well. Here's what I ended up with...
Here's the Fusion inspiration and sketch that I worked with...
I created my own background paper using a new stamp set available in SU's Spring/Summer catalogue which my lovely team members Jess and Claire kindly gave to me just before Christmas (this is my first chance to play with it!).
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Everything Eleanor, Painted Petals, Hip Hip Hooray kit
Ink: Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Memento black, Versamark, White craft ink, Crumb Cake
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: pearls, Very Vanilla seam binding, white embossing powder
Tools: Labels framelits
Make sure you check out the beautiful creations by the rest of the Royal Court this week!
