Hi there!
It's time for another great ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are lovely and rich...
There are lots of possibilities with this combo, and I got a bit carried away and made two cards! I started one, then got distracted by a completely different idea, made that one, then came back and finished the first one. This is the one I started first and finished last...
This one uses the fabulous new Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelits. The woodgrain effect on the door panels was created by inking the woodgrain embossing folder with Pacific Point ink then pressing it onto Pacific Point card - it really is worth playing around with using your embossing folders as stamps!
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Wondrous Wreath
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Pacific Point, Old Olive
Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White
Accessories: Brights candy dots
Tools: Woodgrain embossing folder, Wonderful Wreath framelits
Now this is my other card - completely different but still using these colours and new goodies from the Autumn/Winter catty...
This one uses the beautiful Seasonally Scattered sentiment set as well as a little accent stamp from Holiday Home. I stamped the greeting on Naturals White card then embossed with clear EP and watercoloured over the top with Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie & Pacific Point inks then die-cut with the largest Apothecary framelit. The final touch was colouring in the letters with an Old Olive Blendabilities marker.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Seasonally Scattered, Holiday Home.
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Pacific Point, Old Olive, Versamark, Blendabilities (Old Olive)
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Whisper White
Accessories: Brights candy dots, clear EP
Tools: Hexagon Hive thinlit, Apothecary framelit
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week - they're sure to inspire you!

Flower Patch Fusion...
Hi there!
My hubby and I are on holiday at the moment, having a lovely relaxing time (I brought some crafty goodies with me to play with of course!), but I've made a few things to share with you while we're away... When I saw the current Fusion I knew I had to play along - I love both the sketch and the inspiration photo...
I was preparing for my Flower Patch class when I made this one...
I had seen the Flower Patch set used to make a sunflower somewhere else and I wanted to try it for myself, so I stamped the second-largest flower once with Crushed Curry and once with Daffodil Delight then cut out with the matching die-cut. The centre was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on matching card then die-cutting with the matching framelit and the stem were done in the same way using Old Olive. I created a stamped background on Crushed Curry card with one of the small flowers in this set using Whisper White ink. The sentiment is from the Tag Talk set and punched with the label bracket punch.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Flower Patch, Tag Talk
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry,Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Paper: Tangelo Twist dsp, Very Vanilla, Naturals Ivory, Crushed Curry, Strawberry Slush, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Venetian Lace Trim
Tools: Flower Fair Framelits, Label Bracket Punch
Thanks for stopping by!

Coral Blackberry Rose...
Hiya!
I'm just popping in quickly to share a little something I put together for a couple of challenges: Case this Sketch and Just Add Ink...
I recently took part in the Stretch Your Stamps 2 class at Online Card Classes and one of the techniques I learnt was 'no outline colouring' which I just had to try seeing as how much I love colouring! This is what I ended up with...
I used the Sweetbriar Rose stamp, stamped with Sahara Sand ink on Whisper White card then coloured with Blendabilities - this technique works when you use a light coloured ink because the lines disappear under the ink from the markers - I love how it turned out and will definitely have to try it again! The Blackberry Bliss background was stamped with the Dictionary Background, which you can't see very well in the photo (it is there though - I promise!).
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Sweetbriar Rose, Dictionary, Good Greetings
Ink: Sahara Sand, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Blendabilities (Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler)
Paper: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Naturals White
Accessories: Mossy Meadow ribbon
Tools: Project Life Corner punch

Soft Sweetbriar Blessing...
Hello!
It's time for another ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are so soft and pretty...
I wanted to do some more colouring with Blendabilities and seeing as I have both the Razzleberry and Olive collections I thought this combo was perfect. I chose the beautiful Sweetbriar Rose stamp and spend some happy time colouring and cutting...
The image was stamped twice - the two larger flowers were coloured twice, cut out and popped up over the whole image for extra dimension. The panel behind was stamped with the Hardwood background stamp with Wisteria Wonder ink (stamped off first) then the sentiment was stamped over the top with Rich Razzleberry ink. I think my favourite thing about this card is the background - I inked up the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder with Soft Sky ink using my brayer, then embossed a piece of Soft Sky card - love the effect of this technique!
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Sweetbriar Rose, Hardwood, Blessed by God
Ink: Memento ink, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, Rich Razzleberry, Blendabilities (Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry)
Paper: Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, doily
Accessories: White organza ribbon, Brights candy dots
Tools: Project Life framelits, Beautifully Baroque embossing folder
Make sure you check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the Royal Court gals this week!

Fresh Festive Trees...
Hi there,
I was keen to play with some more of the new goodies coming in the Autumn/Winter catty coming at the end of August so I combined a couple of challenges to help me: the Freshly Made Sketch and the colour combo from Create with Connie & Mary...
One of the stamp sets I had to get my hands on straight away was the Festival of Trees photopolymer set (with the coordinating punch!) - I haven't had the chance to play with it yet, but I had some creative time yesterday and ended up coming up with this...
So much fun!! I also used some new dsp (All is Calm), frosted sequins and a new hostess set for the sentiment (coming soon!). And not to forget, the Project Life card that I used for the focal panel (have I mentioned how useful those Project Life cards are??).
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Festival of Trees, Good Greetings
Ink: Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss, Soft Sky
Paper: All is Calm dsp, Project Life Happiness Is collection, In Colour dsp, Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss
Accessories: Frosted Sequins, Silver dazzling details
Tools: Tree Punch
Thanks for stopping by!

Simple Coastal Bloom...
Hiya!
It's time for another fun ColourQ challenge and this week's combo is fresh and funky with lots of possibilities...
I decided to go CAS on this one (gasp!) because I wanted the lovely Blended Bloom image to shine through...
I tell ya, I never get tired of looking at that beautiful flower image!! I coloured the Blended Bloom image with Coastal Cabana Blendabilities as well as the Mocha pen from the Skin Tones set, then cut one out in full and the other with just the inner petals and layered with dimensionals. The swirls and leaves underneath is the 'thanks' stamp from Seasonally Scattered, stamped in Pear Pizzazz, with the flower covering up the greeting. The sentiment from Hey You was stamped with Early Espresso then I added score lines above and below.
I used the layout from Seize the Sketch to help me...
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Blended Bloom, Hey You, Seasonally Scattered
Ink: Memento Black, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, Blendabilities (Coastal Cabana, Skin Tones)
Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: Brights candy dots
Tools: Simply Scored
Make sure you check out the inspiration from the rest of the design team this week!

Hi there!
I've been wanting to play with the gorgeous new Holiday Home stamp set (and matching framelits - eek!) from the Autumn/Winter catty (coming at the end of August!) and so I combined a couple of challenges to help me: the Freshly Made Sketch and the Color Throwdown combo...
This stamp set is perfect for colouring with Blendabilities and seeing as I have the Smoky Slate collection I thought I'd start there...
I couldn't resist using one of the Project Life cards (cut down a bit) as a background for the house, as well as some dsp from the Moonlight stack.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Holiday Home
Ink: Memento black, Blendabilities (Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana)
Paper: Project Life (Everyday Adventure collection), Moonlight dsp, Real Red, Bermuda Bay, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Accessories: Neutrals buttons
Tools: Homemade Holiday framelits, Word Window punch

Feathery Blessings...
Hello!
I was super excited this week when my box of pre-order goodies arrived from the Autumn/Winter catty! There was a bunch of stuff to play with but I decided to go with something autumnal before getting the Christmas stuff inky. So I combined the gorgeous Four Feathers stamp set and framelits with the Color Me Autumn dsp to come up with this...
I gotta say - I love how this one turned out! I used the Mojo Monday sketch this week for my layout...
I stamped the larger feather with Blackberry Bliss ink and the smaller one with Versamark, embossed with gold then coloured with Cajun Craze and an aquabrush. Both were die-cut with the matching framelits (available as a bundle - yay!).
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Four Feathers, Something to Say, Blessed by God
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Versamark
Paper: Color Me Autumn dsp, Crumb Cake, Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss
Accessories: Blackberry Bliss ribbon, Gold Basic metal buttons, linen thread
Tools: Project Life corner punch, Circle card thinlit collection, Feathers Framelits dies

Tap tap Thanks...
Hiya!
Sorry about the late post today folks - it's been back to a busy week this week and today was a busy day! This is the first chance I've had to sit down and post my ColourQ card for this week... Check out this week's colours...
I saw this card by Laurie Schmidlin the other day and it was my starting point of inspiration for my card this week. I took out Tap, Tap, Tap and a couple of Project Life elements to come up with this...
I used the new Hello Honey instead of the retired Summer Starfruit and used one of the Project Life cards from the Happiness Is collection, along with one of the journalling grid cards to stamp the typewriter on. I added some turquoise chevrons, indigo candy dots and a cute little paper clip, as well as a greeting from Starburst Sayings.
I used the sketch from Fab Friday (although a little loosely lol!) for my layout:
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Tap Tap Tap, Starburst Sayings
Ink: Island Indigo, Hello Honey
Paper: Project Life Happiness Is collection & journalling card. Early Espresso, Whisper White, Tempting Turqouise
Accessories: Regals candy dots, paper clip
Tools: Alphabet Press embossing folder, Project life corner punch, Starburst framelits, chevron punch
Make sure you check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Rainy Day Fox...
Hello!
I'm back with another creation from my creative week (well this one was the weekend - yesterday I had a lovely quiet day to play!). This time I combined the colours from Create with Connie & Mary and this week's Seize the Sketch...
I pulled put one of the new hostess sets, Life's Adventures - perfect for colouring - together with a Project Life card from the Everyday Adventure collection, and came up with this...
So cute!! I discovered that the font in the Life's Adventure set matches perfectly with the font from one of the stamps in the A Dozen Thoughts set - and they work so well together!! The fox was stamped on Whisper White with Stazon and punched out with the 2 1/2" circle punch, then stamped again on Naturals White, coloured with ink and an aquabrush. I cut out the fox and umbrella then popped up over the circle image with dimensionals. I embossed the other sentiment in white and added some silver buttons and silver satin ribbon to finish.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Life's Adventures, A Dozen Thoughts
Ink: Stazon, Versamark, Tangelo Twist, Bermuda Bay
Paper: Project Life card (Everyday Adventure), Bermuda Bay, Tangelo Twist, Whisper White, Basic Grey, Naturals White
Accessories: Silver buttons, silver satin ribbon, white EP
Tools: 2 1/2" circle punch, Starburst framelits

Aqua Bloom Pizzazz...
Hiya!
Just popping in quickly to share a card I made the other evening while I was playing with my Blendabilities... I combined the Card Concept colours with the Sketch from the Paper Players...
While making this I realised I really need some more designer paper from the new catty! My collection is very limited at the moment and I have none in these colours so I had to make my own backgrounds with stamping and embossing...
I stamped the background with Pear Pizzazz ink onto Pear Pizzazz card then swiped some Whisper White ink around the edges. The image was stamped with Memento ink on Whisper White and coloured with Blendabilities, then die-cut and pierced around the edges. The banners at the side are a combination of card, washi tape and glimmer paper.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Bloom with Hope
Ink: Memento black, Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Blendabilities (Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Skin collection)
Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, Naturals White
Accessories: Retro Fresh washi tape
Tools: Large Polka Dot embossing folder, Ovals framelits, Circle card thinlits
Thanks for stopping by!
