Hi there!
This week's ColourQ combo is such a bright and pretty one...
I decided to use die-cuts for my images for this one - a combination of MFT Blueprints and a leafy flourish. Here's what I ended up with...
I used this week's Viva la Verve sketch for my layout, and when I spotted this week's Paper Players challenge I knew I had to link this up with them - I think I have 8 out of 9 of the squares!
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week - they're sure to inspire you!

Very late ColourQ...
Hi there,
Sorry I'm SO late posting my ColourQ card this week! I've been away at a conference for work and didn't get time to write up my post before I left. So here's are this week's pretty colours...
And here's my take on them...
I dug through my stash of old DSP again for the Pool Party panel. The flowers are from Verve's Lean on Me set, stamped with Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers. The Blushing Bride background was stamped with the swirl from Everything Eleanor to give a bit of extra detail. I used the first Viva la Verve sketch from this month for my layout...
Make sure you check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Viva la throwdown...
Hiya!
I decided to make a card yesterday 'just for fun'! It seems I don't get many opportunities to do that nowadays as I'm often making cards for orders or classes etc. and while I always enjoy creating things, there's something great about just 'playing'... So here's my card for this week's Viva la Verve sketch and Color Throwdown challenges...
Here's my inspiration...
I used some OLD dsp I had in my stash from Basic Grey that matched these pretty colours, then pulled out some Verve faves (Making a Statement & Tag Time) and matching dies to create the sentiment label and flowers.
Thanks for stopping by!

ColourQ Mashed Up...
Hiya!
It's time for another fun ColourQ challenge - check out this week's colours...
I decided to go with another masculine card as I thought these colours lent themselves well, however some of the other DT members have produced some gorgeous girly cards so anything is possible with this combo!
I used the Postage Due stamp set with some new MFT Blueprints dies that I treated myself to recently. I also decided to play along with the Friday Mashup's birthday celebrations this week and combined two challenges:
I actually managed to 'double mash' these, using the sketch with a masculine theme, together with leaves and thank you.
Make sure you check out the creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Living the Dream...
Hello!
Just thought I'd share a journal I made recently using one of this month's Viva la Verve sketches and some Kaisercraft papers my Mum brought over for me from Australia at Christmas time...
The only stamping on this is the 'dream big' I stamped over the background paper to create a watermark effect - the rest is all die-cut embellishments that coordinate with the papers (love Kaisercraft for those!).
Here's the sketch I used...

Fab Masculine Thank You...
Hiya!
I'm popping in to share my ColourQ card for this week... This week's colours are so pretty but there's lots of options for how you could use them...
I went with a masculine theme for this one, as I often get asked for thank you cards for guys and never seem to have enough...
I used an old set that I got from a friend recently when she was purging her supplies - I thought the font and design would be cool for men's cards. I added some Typeset dsp and some background stamping, and distressed a couple of edges to give some added dimension. This is the sketch from Fab Friday that inspired me...
