Hiya!
It's time for another fun ColourQ challenge - check out this week's colours...
I decided to go with another masculine card as I thought these colours lent themselves well, however some of the other DT members have produced some gorgeous girly cards so anything is possible with this combo!
I used the Postage Due stamp set with some new MFT Blueprints dies that I treated myself to recently. I also decided to play along with the Friday Mashup's birthday celebrations this week and combined two challenges:
I actually managed to 'double mash' these, using the sketch with a masculine theme, together with leaves and thank you.
Make sure you check out the creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week!
Thanks for stopping by...

Smoky Starfruit Fusion
Hi there!
When I saw the current Fusion challenge I was inspired to combine it with the colour challenge at Create with Connie and Mary...
I was inspired by the dress form along with the sketch and so took out some dsp and my Dress Up framelits and came up with this...
Oh how I love that big fat bow!! I recently ordered some striped Summer Starfruit ribbon from the Spring/Summer catty and this was my first opportunity to use it on a project... love! The dress form was created with Naturals ivory card, stamped with the large stamp from Postage Due, then sponged with Summer Starfruit and Smoky Slate inks.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Postage Due, Petite Pairs
Ink: Stazon, Pacific Point, Summer Starfruit, Smoky Slate
Paper: Sweet Sorbet dsp, Modern Medley dsp, Naturals Ivory, Smoky Slate, Pacific Point, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Summer Starfruit striped ribbon, Very Vintage designer buttons, silver baker's twine
Tools: Ovals framelits, dress up framelits, Thinlit card dies, piercing template and tool
Thanks for stopping by!

Primrose Cantaloupe Blossom...
Hiya!
This week over at the Friday Mashup Tara is challenging us with a colour combo as well as to use a tag on or as our project...
Here's your Mashup Challenge:
The flower was stamped first with Crisp Cantaloupe, then with the second layer in Primrose Petals over the top. The leaves were stamped with Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay (ok so I know that leaves are not blue, but I kinda like the tropical look of it!). I stamped a piece of Soft Sky card with the large postage collage image from Postage Due with Soft Sky ink then ripped around the edges for a shabby vintage look. The embossed piece in the background is some Primrose Petals core-dinations card that I'd embossed with the Argyle EF and sanded ages ago that was sitting in my stash. I added half a doily (also from my scrap collection) and arranged the panels for a scrappy/collagey (is that a word?!) kind of feel. The tag element is a piece of Very Vanilla, stamped with a sentiment from Petite Pairs in Bermuda Bay, punched into a tag and pierced. I added a Crisp Cantaloupe tag (core'dinations card crumpled and sanded... not that you can see much of it!) underneath and used some Bermuda Bay twine (from the Tag-a-Box kit) and a few pearls to finish. I couldn't resist adding a bit of faux stitching around the edge with a Crisp Cantaloupe marker.
Make sure you check out the rest of the design team's creations this week!

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
- Create a project with a "Tag (as an embellishment on your project or as the project itself )."
- Create a project using the colors "Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Sky, Primrose Petals & Bermuda Bay".
- Or Mash it Up and create a project "with a Tag using the color combo above".
