Hiya!
I'm popping in quickly to share some cards for men that I whipped up over the weekend as I've had more orders for these than I have in my collection - note to self: make more masculine cards!! I used the Viva la Verve sketch as my starting point but only one of them stuck true to the sketch...
Here's the sketch I followed...
And here is the set made with the same papers and a few different embellishments...

Big Bright Dreams...
Hiya!
Check out these fab colours for this week's ColourQ challenge...
Aren't they pretty? I seem to be on a designer paper kick at the moment, and I didn't really have any SU papers in these colours so I went rummaging through my {rather sizeable!) stash of papers and found some gorgeous K&Co sheets from ages ago that fit the bill perfectly! I wanted to add to my notebook collection as I did a craft fair on the weekend and my journals went like hot cakes - pretty much all gone! So now I have a great excuse to make more... lol! Here's what I came up with for these colours...
The papers were so pretty I didn't want to cover them up too much so I just added a 'dream big' panel (stamped with a few of my favourite Verve sets) and some ribbon (and of course, butterflies!). I used the Viva la Verve sketch for my layout again this week...
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Bordering Butterfly Notebook...
Hi there!
It's time for another ColourQ challenge and this week's combination has lots of possibilities...
I dug through my paper stash and found some old Basic Grey papers that had three of these colours in them, so I combined them with a piece of Gumball Green cardstock and some butterflies stamped with a little Bordering Blue inkpad I'd kept hold of since the colour retired. Here's what I ended up with...
I used this week's Viva la Verve sketch for my layout...
Make sure you check out the inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Mojo Dream Journal...
Hiya!
I wanted to play along with this week's Mojo Monday challenge and combined it with the Colour Throwdown combination...
I found a Bo Bunny paper pad in my stash that included these colours so used those as the basis for this little notebook...
The sentiment is from Words of Wisdom (one of my fave Verve sets!) and I couldn't resist adding a butterfly as well (er, when do I NOT want to add a butterfly?!).

Stippled Coral Concept...
Hi there!
It's time for another fun ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are SO pretty...
I was in a creative mood and wanted to add to my card collection so decided to make a set, using a mix of dsp and a soon-to-be-retired set, Stippled Blossoms. I started with a Mothers' Day card as it's Mothers' Day in Australia (where I grew up and where my Mum still lives!) this coming Sunday...
I then used the same design to put together three more for my stash...
I used this week's Card Concept as my inspiration...
I think this design falls under the 'freestyle collage' style...
Make sure you check out the fabulous designs from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

A set of thank yous...
Hiya!
Recently I've been looking through my rather immense stash of papers and decided I need to make more sets or multiples of cards, so I pulled out an old Authentique paper pad and whipped up a few thank you cards using this week's Viva la Verve sketch. Here's what I ended up with...
I was going for a more masculine look with these as I get quite a few requests for thank you cards for guys and never seem to have enough. Here's the sketch I worked with...
I used a couple of Verve sets and coordinating dies for the sentiment panels, and added some OLD hodgepodge hardware (brilliant embellishments for guys' cards!) and ribbon to finish.

Blended Mojo Bloom...
Hello!
I've been lecturing all week and after concentrating so much on the teaching material I needed a bit of chill time yesterday to get creative! I combined a couple of challenges to inspire me: the brand new TGIF Challenge together with the Mojo Monday sketch...
I pulled out the Blended Bloom single stamp and had fun colouring with my Blendabilities (which are sadly no longer available, but hey ho, I might as well use the ones I have eh?!)...
I used some retired dsp and ribbon, and added a little butterfly I created with layers of card and vellum.
I'm looking forward to the bank holiday on Monday - maybe more crafty time..?!
