Hiya!
I'm sad to say that this week is my last week on the ColourQ design team. Life has gotten very full over the last few months and there are other things I need to prioritise with the time that I have available so I had to make the choice to step away from some things, one of which is the wonderful ColourQ team. I have had such fun being a part of the Royal Court and and very grateful to Arielle for inviting me to join in the first place! So here are this week's colours...
And here's my card...
I used the current Viva la Verve sketch for my layout...
Make sure you check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court!

Oh Baby!
Hiya,
It's time for another ColourQ challenge and this week's colour combination is perfect for baby-themed cards...
I started with a piece of watercolour paper and got messy with inks and a water spritzer (fun!). When I'd made something I liked, I then stamped, cut and added a bunch of layers, paper flowers, ribbon... well yes I got a bit carried away lol!
I had a friend in mind who's baby shower is coming up soon, so this will be going to her...
Make sure you check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Design Team this week!

Pumpkin Rose Botanicals...
Hiya!
I'm posting my ColourQ card a little early today as I'm going away for a few days. This week's colours are lovely and bright...
I can't seem to stop using the fabulous Botanical Blooms dies from SU so here's another creation with them...
I used a slightly modified version of the Viva la Verve sketch this week for my layout...

Papertrey March Blog Hop Challenge
Hello!
I thought, seeing as I had some time to get creative today, that I would join in with the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop this month.
Here's the lovely inspiration picture...
When I saw the inspiration pic I thought of coloured embossing on a grey background so that's what I played around with until I ended up with this...
I used a few PTI sets for this one: Rosie Posie, Butterfly Dreams, Beautiful Butterflies and Turning a New Leaf. I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch this week to help me with my layout...

Abundant Birthday Blessings...
Hiya!
It's time for another ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are a cheerful combination...
I went rummaging through my card stash and found some Poppy Parade in one of my boxes, and seeing as I don't have the ink to stamp or colour with I thought I would emboss some flowers onto the card, as well as Melon Mambo, to create some bright blooms. I pulled out an old Verve set called Abundant Blessings which has so many lovely images and used the three different flower stamps to create this...
The leaves were cut from Coastal Cabana card using one of the Botanical Blooms dies {can I just say again how FAB these are?!} and stamped a greeting from Verve's Chevron Love set. I used this week's Viva la Verve sketch for my layout (although with rather large flowers instead of the dainty shamrocks!)...
After two busy weekends I am looking forward to some time this coming weekend to chill out and get creative so hopefully I'll have a few more projects to share in the next week or so...
Make sure you check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Hiya!
I'm a bit late posting my ColourQ card this week - yesterday was so busy! Here are this week's colours...
I really wanted to use the Botanical Blooms dies again cos I just love the leaves (and flowers!) in that set, so I kept pretty simple and ended up with this...
I used the sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches this week for my layout...

Joyful Journal...
Hi there!
It's time for another great ColourQ challenge... Here are this week's colours to play with...
I struggled to know what to do with these colours for ages so I went rummaging through my paper collection to see if anything had a combination of any of these colours in it and lo and behold I found an old K&Co collection that had all of them (or near enough!). That inspired me to create an altered notebook, so here's what I ended up with...
I used the current Viva la Verve sketch for my layout (with a few tweaks!)...

Beautiful Blues Notebook...
Hiya!
It's time for another ColourQ challenge and this week we've got a fabulous combination of blues...
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with these colours but I eventually decided to pull out an old Papertrey set, Guidelines, and create my own background paper (inspired by the printed bedlinen). I'd forgotten how much fun it is to play with this set and the endless possibilities you can create!
I had a heart-shaped doily in the Bermuda Bay shade of blue so added that along with my background paper, a simple Verve scripture and of course a butterfly! I have a stash of these little blue notebooks that are a perfect match for Brilliant Blue so I thought I'd alter one of those for a gift for someone or to sell perhaps - we'll see!
Make sure you check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Encouragement Blueprint...
Hiya!
After a week off last week I'm back with the latest ColourQ palette...
How striking are these colours?? Gorgeous! I wanted to create something with a floral element to reflect the photo but I was running short of time so I broke out my set of MFT's Blueprints dies and whipped up this in no time at all...
I used the PPA sketch this week for my layout as well as the lovely Card Concept inspiration photo...
I went with my usual 'clean and layered style' - for me the easiest one to pull off quickly!
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the design team this week!

Candied ColourQ Hearts...
Hiya!
It's time for another great ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are a fabulously girly combination...
Here's what I came up with...
I was inspired by the Card Concept inspiration as well as the PPA sketch this week...
I loved those heart-shaped cookies with the icing so wanted to create a similar effect with the hearts on my card. I die-cut the hearts and layered then covered with Crystal Effects and sprinkled with a touch of gold glitter. I added a stamped flower with a gold glitter centre, inspired by the inspiration photo. Here's a close up...
The sentiment is from Verve's Small Phrases set (so versatile!). I went with the 'clean and layered' style with this one (probably my favourite!).
Make sure you check out all the fab inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court this week!

Simple Botanical CAS(E)
Hello!
Just popping in quickly to share a simple little card I made using the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge this week...
These Botanical Blooms dies make it so easy to make a quick card that still looks intricate and pretty - I'm loving playing with them at the mo! Here's the super fab sketch I used...

Blushing Rose Anniversary...
Hello!
I took some time last night and this afternoon to just chill out and play with some new stamps and some favourite challenges... In this busy world of mine it's all too easy to forget to set time aside just to relax and create for the sheer joy of it! Hopefully I'll be able to pop in and share my creations over the next few days and week, but today I'll start with this one...
I managed to score this beautiful Rose Wonder stamp set for free when I hosted my last SU party (yay for freebies!) and have been wanting to play with it for the past week. For this one I stamped the rose image three times on Blushing Bride and embossed with white EP, then cut three different layers and stacked up with dimensionals. The leaves were stamped on Crumb Cake and embossed as well. The card layers were cut using one of MFT's Blueprints die-namics collections (love!) and the sentiment is from a old MFT set.
I combined this week's MFT sketch challenge (tweaked a bit!) with the Color Throwdown as my inspiration...

Simply Wonderful...
Hi there!
It's time for another fun ColourQ challenge and this week's colours are a pretty combination...
I got some new Kaisercraft goodies for Christmas (thanks Mum!) and these colours reminded me of the colours in the collection so I went rummaging through the die-cuts that came with the papers and found a lovely big bloom that worked perfectly. I paired it with some old SU saffron dsp and ended up with this quick and simple card...
I used this week's Fusion sketch for my layout (and the pink and yellow inspiration fits too, although these colors are a more muted version!)...
Make sure you check out the fab inspiration from the rest of the Royal Court this week!
